P6 Scheduler

will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating schedules for multiple ongoing projects and proposals. This role demands excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities across developing preconstruction schedules for proposals, preparing weekly and monthly schedule updates on multiple projects, developing baseline schedules for new projects, and performing time impact analysis. Narrative writing is a critical component, as this position requires clear and concise communication of project timelines, progress, schedule changes, and schedule impacts. Key Responsibilities: Create and manage detailed project schedules using

Primavera P6

for heavy civil construction projects. Prepare weekly and monthly updates schedules for

multiple concurrent projects. Develop and write

schedule narratives

that clearly communicate status, variances, schedule changes, and critical path items for internal and external stakeholders. Work collaboratively with project managers, estimators, engineers, and subcontractors to gather schedule input and updates. Monitor project progress and perform schedule analysis, including impacts of changes and delays. Support proposal development with preliminary baseline schedules and time-impact analyses. Conduct regular reviews to ensure schedules reflect actual work progress and construction sequence logic. Qualifications: Minimum

3-5 years of scheduling experience

in heavy civil construction using

Primavera P6 . Proven ability to

multi-task effectively

and handle a high volume of simultaneous schedules. Strong technical writing skills, with experience in drafting

schedule narratives and schedule change justifications . Working knowledge of construction means and methods across civil disciplines (earthwork, structures, utilities, etc.). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Must have proficiency in Excel, Word, and P6. Experience with alternate schedule software and diagnostics tools is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. This position requires the ability to conduct meetings using virtual meeting technology for multiple projects and locations.
