You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to assist residents with daily living activities, maintaining dignity and promoting independence. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Obtaining and recording vital signs. Providing psychosocial support. Assisting with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety with proper techniques. Contributing to a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and hydration. Documenting resident interactions and reporting changes to the nursing team. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of living areas. Encouraging resident participation in wellness programs. Supporting the nursing staff with various procedures as needed. Qualifications We are looking for candidates who have: High school diploma or GED preferred. A minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred. Required CNA certification or enrollment in a training program leading to certification within four months. Commitment to continuing education with a minimum of 12 hours annually. Certification as an Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) where applicable. Your role may require driving responsibilities; hence a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle report will be necessary.
