Job Description
Support PEGA platform and various Java application projects focused on Automation Dev work. Work within an Automation Group consisting of approximately 8 team members. Interact with other PEGA teams, approximately 10–12 people. Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages, with experience in Java application development. Experience with Web and API Automation Tools/Frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Bruno, Postman). Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Pytest, JUnit, TestNG for Java). Strong understanding of software development principles and testing methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Prompt Engineering, designing effective prompts for Gen AI tools. Experience using Gen AI tools for day-to-day automation work. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Leadership skills: Experience leading a team of automation developers or mentoring junior team members. Architecture skills: Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Critical Information
Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures. Proficiency using versioning tools: GIT, GNU, RCS, SCCS, CVS, SVN, Mercurial, Monotone. Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Flexible team player. Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities. Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance. Education/Licenses Needed
