The Ultrasound Technologist operates ultrasound equipment to create high-quality images of the body's designated areas as directed by a physician. This role requires timely, professional, and safe patient care. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently and responding effectively to emergency situations while maintaining excellent oral and written communication skills.
The Generalist Ultrasound Technologist performs both invasive and non-invasive procedures on diverse patients, utilizing sterile techniques and assisting physicians as necessary. This position necessitates independent functioning to deliver top-quality imaging outcomes. What You Will Need: Required Education:
Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program. Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field. Required License:
ARDMS or ARRT Registry in Ultrasound at the time of hire, with Vascular Ultrasound Registry also required. High-Risk OB Technologist certification must be obtained for OB/GYN. BCLS certification required. Preferred License:
ARDMS certification in multiple specialties. Preferred Experience:
