Senior Network Administrator

An established and employee-focused financial institution is seeking a
Senior Network Administrator
to join its Information Technology team at the Sacramento, California, office. In this team-oriented environment, the Senior Network Administrator is responsible for the installation, administration, and maintenance of the organization’s 24/7 enterprise-wide systems. This includes managing network infrastructure, server and hardware systems, security protocols, and providing end-user support. The role also involves mentoring Tier 1 & 2 support staff and optimizing IT systems to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical business applications. The ideal candidate can troubleshoot effectively and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and users. Qualifications: Experience & Education 3–5 years of relevant experience in network/system administration.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications (Preferred but not Required): Technical certifications such as Cisco CCNA, ITIL, Microsoft, or Azure.
CompTIA Network+ or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with CISSP principles.
Must hold a valid California driver’s license.
Technical Skills & Requirements: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco network infrastructure including switches, VPNs, and firewalls.
Experience with Fortinet equipment is a plus.
Expert-level proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange/O365.
Hands-on experience with Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
Familiarity with hyperconverged environments is preferred.
Experience managing Windows Server 2019 environments; SQL Server 2016+ is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits: Compensation is dependent on experience, education, skill level, and location. All positions are eligible for incentive compensation based on role and performance.
