Contract ETL DeveloperMUST be local to New York City, Hybrid Schedule, 5 out of 10 days onsiteWe are seeking an experienced IT Developer to work on project requirements in Corporate IT. This is a challenging position requiring strong, proven experience in analysis, design, delivery, and production support and domains. The role provides solutions to business requirements for multiple complex projects in parallel to successfully suggest and deliver solutions for Information Technology, specifically for Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, and Operational Controls.About the RoleSuccessful candidate must be experienced with identifying and analyzing technology and process problems, while developing solutions for tactical and/or strategic projects, in collaboration with Business and Technology stakeholders across the organization.ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development ETL tasks and Tidal jobs including scheduling and dependencies (Python scripts)Maintain Tidal jobs across all environments (DEV, UAT & PROD)Maintain all ETL code in subversion repositories (DEV & TRUNK)Follow the company build & version control process using Jenkins & AZURE Dev OpsSet up FTP connections for data transmission supporting automated processesSupport BA team with data analysis, with identification and extraction of correct data required, and suggest data extract rulesVerify all job changes & promotions to UAT and prod environmentsCreate Service Now tickets for all Tidal & ETL jobsManage and track all time and tasks in JIRAHelp set up and streamline various data extract processesQualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Management of Information Systems, or related business discipline(s).3-5 years' work experience with IT or process engineeringProcess mapping/ process improvement experienceComplex SQL query knowledgePython knowledgeAbility to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasksExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsHighly motivated, self-directed individual with the ability to work independently and in team environmentsEffective presentation skills, combined with extreme attention to detailStrong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skillsCollaborative team player and relationship builder.Required SkillsPrevious exposure/knowledge in developing IT solutions for Equity Compliance Regulations (e.g. CAT, CAIS, LOPR) at a bank desired.
