$24 - $36 Department Details Must be able to support multiple locations within 150 miles of your permanent address. Mileage reimbursement provided. Premium Pay Rates: $5/hour premium on all hours worked. $1.25/hour weekend shift differential. $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM). Experience Requirements: Long Term Care Experience (6 months preferred, 3 months required). Scheduling Requirements: Minimum of 30 hours per month. One weekend shift per month. Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. You will demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents. Skills such as administering medications, documenting resident care, and working effectively within an interdisciplinary team are essential. You will also have the opportunity to counsel residents and family members while maintaining confidentiality and providing education to develop self-care programs. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. An associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. If the position involves IV therapy, complete an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and maintain required department competencies.
