Compensation: $28.00 per hour

Position Overview:
As a CDL B Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering and picking up containers from customer locations. Your mission is to ensure safe, timely, and efficient deliveries while fostering positive relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism for loading and unloading containers.
Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and lift equipment.
Adapt to business needs by accepting additional deliveries.
Utilize a company handheld device for delivery confirmations and navigation.
Operate a forklift and/or overhead crane when needed.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of containers for customer delivery.
Facilitate rental paperwork and payment processes with customers.
Communicate effectively with management regarding customer inquiries and concerns.
Perform necessary repairs on containers and lifts, both in the field and at storage facilities.
Assist in storage center operations when required.
Ensure the truck cab is kept clean and organized.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid CDL Class A License without air brake restriction.
Must maintain a current driver license and meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards.
Minimum age of 21 years (insurance requirement).
Possess a valid Medical Examiner's certificate or the ability to obtain a minimum one-year certification.
Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software is preferred.
Math skills sufficient for performing required duties.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to drive, operate equipment and handle containers, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong vision and spatial awareness are crucial for this role.
Working Conditions:
Shift start times may vary; some overtime, including weekends, may be required. Travel is primarily within location territory. Expect to work around mechanical parts and in various weather conditions.
