Overview

The QA Sr. Specialist for Improvement is responsible for performing field claim analysis, daily repair orders review, QIR (Quality Information Report) processing, and communication with HMMA, MOBIS, and Suppliers regarding all issues related to quality assurance. Responsibilities

Essential Functions Create and modify quality assurance reports, including monthly field claim analysis and status updates. Identify field claim trends and participate in supplier quality responsibility reviews concerning field claim reimbursement. Analyze field claim R/O (Repair Orders) provided through quality systems (QMS, VAATZ, supplier portal). Identify and investigate R/O trends and issues. Lead and perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for quality defects and maintain the Quality Information database and related documents. Maintain databases and documents related to QIRs, identifying root causes and countermeasures for quality defects. Prepare and present the CS1M/RS1M (Customer Satisfaction/Reliability Study) status monthly. Coordinate with Headquarters in Korea on monthly Quality Status reports. Collaborate with Quality Control to analyze assembly line processes and implement improvements. Work with OEMs on returned part analysis. Monitor and analyze the impact of part Engineering Order changes and trials for potential warranty claims. Support the Quality Control team by addressing questions and concerns. Conduct on-site supplier audits to ensure manufacturing and quality process validity and reliability. Plan, organize, perform, and control quality assurance activities, including problem containment and preventive actions. Develop processes, systems, forms, and tools to improve efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy of information. Report supplier issues, status, and resolutions to management. Evaluate audit findings and implement corrective actions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications Required Education & Experience: 3 consecutive years of experience as a technician in Engineering or Manufacturing industries, or Bachelors degree in a related field plus at least 6 consecutive years of relevant experience, or Engineering/Technical Degrees or coursework plus at least 5 consecutive years of relevant experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Customer service orientation. Knowledge of AIAG, IATF16949, ISO standards, Six Sigma, SPC, PPAP, ISIR, Control Plan, FMEA, QMS, 8D problem solving, and blueprint reading. Preferred Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Engineering with 3+ years in a technical role within the automotive industry. Experience in product or industry-specific quality inspection, auditing, and testing. Strong data analysis and statistical skills. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Certifications such as Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, or Six Sigma are advantageous. Working Conditions

- 60% office, 20% production floor, 20% OEM or supplier site. - Ability to traverse the production floor. - Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. - Overtime as needed (40 hours plus OT). - Frequent visits to OEMs and suppliers. - Potential for domestic and international travel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
