We offer competitive pay, benefits, and the opportunity for professional growth. ** ** **JOB SUMMARY: ** The Pump Mechanic is on the 2nd Shift responsible for assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of rotating type equipment, mainly horizontal and vertical pumps. The Pump Mechanic will operate required tools for the disassembly and assembly of rotating equipment and utilize various M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc..) for the inspection of the equipment. You will also use an overhead crane in our shop. ** ** **KEY TASKS: ** Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild large pumps of all types
Interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures and construct foundations for pump assembly and disassembly
Operate manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools
Ability to utilize all M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc.…)
Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy

7+ years of experience as a pump mechanic or in a similar role performing disassembly, inspection, and assembly of large pumps and rotating equipment
**TECHNOLOGY, TOOLS, & MACHINERY: ** Manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools used to operate machinery
Micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tooling
Fork trucks, overhead cranes
