Extended Job Title Programmer Analyst II - SHP Educational Technology Position Description The Programmer Analyst II's role is to develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. The Programmer Analyst II will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle. Requisition ID 41653BR Travel Required Up to 25% Pay Grade Maximum Salary commensurate with related education, experience, and/or skills. Major/Essential Functions

Develop, implement, and maintain API services to facilitate seamless data exchange between different systems and platforms. Develop, test, enhance and maintain web-based applications, user interfaces, and interactive features. Design database schemas, tables, and relationships to support the organization's data needs. Write SQL queries to retrieve, update, and manipulate data efficiently. Create and maintain Power BI reports to derive actionable insights from complex datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Maintain clear, concise and up-to-date technical documentation of processes, workflows, and best practices related to API development, Web development, data management, and business intelligence analysis. Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, team members, and management Employ strong problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues related to various web applications, LMS, data processing, and reporting. Works toward advancing SHP goals and mission as a member of the SHP Educational Technology Team as directed by the SHP Associate Dean for Educational Technology. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in API development, web development, database management, and business intelligence.

Master's Degree in Computer Science. Knowledge of working with Learning Management Systems and Content Management Systems. Knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodology. Experience with full-stack development. Knowledge of code versioning systems such as GitHub or TFS.
