We are seeking a part time OB Technician for our Labor and Delivery unit at SRGA.
Shift’s Available: Days Employment Type: Part Time Hours: 7am to 7pm Location: Southern Regional Medical Center - Riverdale, GA

Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
The OB Technician performs a variety of patient care and clerical duties to assist and support the organization and function of the Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum (LDRP). Works cooperatively with and under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides direct care to patient of various ages (neonate, adolescent, adult). Interacts with physicians, patients, families/significant others, hospital staff and community agencies in providing basic care. Is responsible for completion and processing of the birth certificates, and “Declaration of Paternity” forms. Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. High School Diploma or Equivalent 2. BLS Certification within 30 days and maintain current3. Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT, ROP, Paramedic Training Program, Certified Surgical Scrub Technician or equivalent required. (State Specific)
