$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Aegis Worldwide Job Title: Accounts Payable Assistant Manager Summary: The Accounts Payable Assistant Manager supports daily AP operations and leads a team responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and IRS regulations. This role also contributes to system improvements, staff development, and process optimization. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily AP operations and ensure timely, accurate vendor payments. Supervise, train, and evaluate AP staff. Review vendor setups and confirm receipt of W-9s. Assist with check runs and electronic payment processing. Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries. Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance. Manage annual 1099 reporting and support weekly cash forecasts. Lead AP system enhancements and automation projects. Oversee corporate credit card and PCard reconciliation. Maintain and improve AP policies, procedures, and internal controls. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 3+ years AP experience, including leadership or supervisory duties. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with OCR/AP automation tools preferred. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and time management abilities. High integrity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Seniority level
