Job Description: Position Details: Pay: Average first-year drivers can earn between $70,000 - $80,000 Schedule/Hours: Enjoy a work week from Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off. This role allows you to be home every night, with no over-the-road (OTR) driving required. What We Offer:

Our food and food service delivery drivers play a vital role in maintaining the country’s food supply chain. Not only do they ensure timely delivery of products to our customers, but they also represent our company, building strong relationships along the way. As a Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck locally and ensuring the safe and timely delivery and unloading of food and related products while adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Effective communication and professionalism with customers and team members are essential as you work collaboratively to serve our clients successfully. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct pre and post-trip safety checks in accordance with DOT regulations and take necessary actions to resolve any safety issues. Adhere to all DOT regulations and company driving guidelines, reporting hazards immediately. Verify load accuracy by checking items and invoices before delivery. Drive to customer locations following predetermined delivery schedules. Unload products at designated areas, ensuring they are placed in the correct storage locations. Perform damage control checks on delivered items and manage returns according to company policy. Confirm delivery with customers and obtain required signatures. Collect payment if necessary. Complete mandatory daily records of service hours in compliance with Federal DOT regulations. Keep the tractor and trailer clean and secure at all times. Maintain general housekeeping within the loading dock area and trailers. Perform additional related duties as assigned to support operational goals. Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months of commercial driving experience. Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Valid Class B CDL required. 21 years of age or older. A clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years. Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and a criminal background check. Successful completion of a driving test. Valid DOT Health Card or ability to secure one. Capacity to manually lift and utilize equipment for moving and stacking products of varying sizes and weights throughout the shift, generally ranging from 10-35 pounds, with some items weighing between 60 and 90 pounds.
