Rotating Day/Evening/Night 7a-730p/ 7p-730a, every other weekend SUMMARY: Join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care within the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. As a Senior Patient Care Technician, you will deliver direct and indirect patient care according to the treatment plans guided by licensed nurses. Your flexibility and commitment will help us meet the diverse needs of our patients and the unit. RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Care & Service:
Provide compassionate and competent patient care, ensuring the highest standards for nutritional, hygiene, skin, and elimination needs. Monitor vital signs and maintain a clean, well-stocked environment for patient care.
Admission & Transfer of Patients:
Assist with the smooth admission, discharge, and transfer processes, ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: None
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of Nursing Fundamentals, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, or experience in a medical assistant/technician role in a healthcare facility preferred.
Associate's degree preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly. Involves frequent walking, standing, or squatting. For disease-specific care programs, refer to the department's specifications for experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.
