Job Summary:

This position is responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining cranes and related lifting equipment. This role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble crane components, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, according to engineering specifications and blueprints. Perform quality control checks and functional tests to ensure product compliance with company standards. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical issues in production. Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently. Follow workplace safety regulations and procedures to maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with engineers, production supervisors, and team members to ensure smooth workflow and process improvements. Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or defects. Assist in routine maintenance and housekeeping of the production area.

Qualifications & Competencies

High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certification is a plus). 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial production, or a related field. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Experience with crane assembly or heavy equipment manufacturing is preferred. Basic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively. Physical ability to lift heavy components, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions. Provide own set of tools necessary to perform job duties efficiently. Specialty tools will be provided by company.
