Job Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to help manage the movement of DNA samples from customers to our labs, both across the US and internationally. In this role, you'll be central to our logistics operation-supporting our ever-growing network of dropboxes, troubleshooting shipping delays, and working closely with our extensive network of over 50 partner couriers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career to dive into the world of logistics and learn the behind-the-scenes operations that power next-generation DNA sequencing.

What You'll Do Expand our network of dropboxes Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and scheduling of Plasmidsaurus' dropboxes at biotech hubs, universities, and research centers globally. Work with new customers who have requested local DNA sample pickup to provide them with a dropbox and activate it. Work with customer and facility contacts to gather necessary details and access permissions for dropboxes (dropbox pickup schedule, building hours, access cards, security protocols, etc.).

Track shipments and resolve delivery issues Use internal tracking systems to monitor UPS shipments, and proactively address any delays, contacting couriers and/or dropbox contacts when needed Monitor the logistics support inbox and respond promptly to customer inquiries about shipping issues, missed pickups, and general logistics questions. Serve as a liaison between customers, labs, couriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Communicate with customers regarding delays, missed pickups, and shipping concerns.

Drive supply chain and operational efficiency Help maintain the supply chain by ensuring dropboxes and shipping materials are stocked and readily available where needed. Contribute to dropbox redesign and distribution projects. Contribute to process improvements in shipping, receiving, and sample management

Qualifications

Education:

Associates or Bachelor's degree Detail-Oriented & Organized:

Meticulous attention to detail and ability to stay organized while working on multiple projects at a time Experience:

1-3 years of experience in supporting logistics preferred. Knowledge of biological materials handling and shipping regulations a plus. Problem Solver:
