Position Specific Description

NextEra Energy is seeking a Lead Project Manager to join our growing Cybersecurity team!

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

Leading and executing multiple high-impact cybersecurity initiatives from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and security priorities Driving the centralization of the PMO by standardizing tools, templates, and reporting structures to enhance consistency, efficiency, and governance across projects Coordinating cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to align on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder satisfaction Tracking project budgets, and financial reporting in close collaboration with finance teams Utilizing modern project tracking and collaboration tools to ensure real-time visibility, accountability, and documentation across teams Acting as the primary point of contact for high-complexity projects, driving accountability, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely resolution of issues Preparing and deliver clear, compelling stakeholder communications and executive-level presentationsstrong storytelling and PowerPoint skills are essential to effectively convey strategy, progress, and outcomes Collaborating with internal teams to define detailed project requirements, scope, priorities, and resource plans to ensure successful and timely execution

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Oversees a variety of large-scale projects of high complexity Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions Provides expert information to internal and external clients on complex issues Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

High School Grad / GED Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience Experience: 6+ years

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree Project Management Professional (PMP)
