Summary

As a Bartender at Loveland reporting to the Bar Supervisor and supported by the Food &Beverage Leadership team, you're more than just a drink-slinger, you're part of the experience. Whether pouring a local craft beer, mixing aprs cocktails, or chatting with a longtime local, you help create a space where guests feel welcome, relaxed, and connected to the mountain vibe. Daily tasks include serving beer, wine, and cocktails quickly and responsibly, maintaining a clean and organized bar, restocking supplies, and handling transactions with accuracy. You'll also help monitor guest behavior, check IDs, and ensure compliance with all liquor laws and safety protocols. But above all, this role is about mountain hospitality. Our bars are popular gathering spots for locals, visitors, and staff alike, and we take pride in offering friendly, down-to-earth service. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees, with safety and fun as our top priorities.

Essential Functions Welcome and greet guests and interact with them to make recommendations, take orders, serve food and drinks and provide a pleasant drinking experience for every guest. Maintain order and cleanliness in all bar areas while adhering to all health department and Loveland food and alcohol safety, service and cleanliness standards. Verify guests' identification and confirm their legal drinking status while complying with all state, local and company alcohol service regulations. Accurately portion alcoholic beverages, restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies, open and maintain guest tabs throughout shift and accurately collect and process payment transactions. Complete all bar opening and closing duties, and any other duties as assigned. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Education and/or Experience. At least 1 year in high volume alcoholic beverage service establishment required; Must have Colorado TIPS Alcohol Service Certification, ServSafe Alcohol Certification, or ability to obtain certification prior to first shift. Thorough knowledge of craft beer, wine, mixed cocktails, beverage and food pairings and general bar operations. Ability to count US currency and accurately complete payment transactions. Ability to stand for extended periods. Withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures as found in typical kitchen environments. Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Winter outdoor work may be required, i.e. snow shoveling, loading/unloading delivery trucks, etc. Ability to learn POS sales point systems and functions. Ability to communicate fluently in English- speak and understand verbal and written communications. Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred. Must be at least 21 years old. What's in it for You?
