O'Hara Corporation
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator's primary role is the management of items and services for all five O'Hara Corporation vessels as directed by the Purchasing & Engineering Team. Heavily tied into this responsibility includes overseeing the condition and operation of O'Hara Corporation's warehouses in both Seattle and Dutch Harbor. This position is expected to regularly interact with vendors, contractors, and company staff to execute the duties of the role in accordance with our core values of

Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Perform purchasing duties for all the O'Hara Corporation Fishing Vessels Focus on orders that are stored and stocked in O'Hara's Seattle and Dutch Harbor warehouse Manage purchases (actual goods) that are funneled through O'Hara NW Office Physical items received are sorted, grouped, and shipped according to shipping rules established In Charge of Warehouse Management for the Seattle Office & Dutch Harbor Periodic Inventory of items in Seattle Warehouse Labeling items received that are stored in the warehouse Labeling items already in the warehouse that are not documented Managing TM Master for items that are in the warehouse Assess warehouse layout, rack locations, and efficiency of items moving in and out Proficient in TM Master - Purchasing, Warehouse Management, and Maintenance Software Proficient in Worldview Invoice Approval Process Travel to Dutch Harbor often throughout the year to check warehouse processes and vessel operations Assist with the management of O'Hara Corporation assets such as buildings, vehicles, and equipment Coordinate any Seattle Office maintenance needs including but no limited to, grounds upkeep, building repairs, fleet vehicle maintenance, security system maintenance etc. Other Duties as assigned During Fishing Season:
Support and assist vessels in procuring parts and services Seattle Office Purchasing :
Assist and manage purchases related to Seattle Operations Office During Shipyard:
Attend vessels to speak with crew on purchasing needs Assist crew in receiving parts onboard vessels Assist with managing Pursers working at both docks during shipyard In charge of logistics of all orders bound for the Dutch Harbor Warehouse prior to and during shipyard, getting them properly stowed on the vessel, tracked to Dutch Harbor, and marked correctly in TM Master Meet the vessels in Dutch Harbor in late January to assist with sorting and organizing orders in Dutch Harbor warehouses Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications:
Computer and Microsoft Office Competency. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Obtain Forklift Certification within one month of hire. Safely and efficiently operate a forklift. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Purchasing/Procurement related field and 2-5 years of relevant experience. Good communication skills. Work Environment:
The Coordinator will be based in the Seattle, WA office. Interstate travel is required. This position is expected to spend time in Alaska during the fishing season. There will be a minimum of 5-6 trips to Alaska annually. Travel to Alaska would exceed one week for each visit due to operational or weather-related reasons. The estimated time per trip would be no longer than 2 weeks (14 days). Flexibility regarding hours of work is required as needed to meet the demands of the job. Purchaser will be making frequent trips to the vessels during the shipyard period. Physical Requirements:
Physical and technical requirements that meet the standards of O'Hara Corporation. Frequent keyboard use and sitting at a desk. Forklift Certification (due within one month of hire). Lifting up to 60lbs. Turning, twisting, bending, and lifting. Benefits

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
