Eligible for new hire sign-on bonus! As part of our lab team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and developing valuable medical skills. Schedule: 8-hour shifts from 6:00am-2:30pm Every 3rd weekend from 7:00am-3:30pm in blood bank Responsibilities: Manage pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing Follow standard operating procedures for MLS/MLTs Meet laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Recognize safety hazards and comply with all safety practices Collect and process lab specimens with appropriate equipment Perform clinical laboratory testing using both manual and automated methods Collect and manage samples from patients Qualifications: MLS:
Bachelor's degree in laboratory or biological sciences required. Must hold national certification for Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS). Registry eligible candidates must complete examination within 12 months. If practicing in North Dakota (ND), must obtain licensure from the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice. Continuing education credits are mandatory for license maintenance. BLS certification may be required. MLT:
Associate's degree in Laboratory Science required. Must possess national certification for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). Similar registry eligibility and examination requirements as MLS. Licensure in North Dakota is also required. Continuing education credits are necessary for license maintenance. BLS certification may be required.
