Rate Range: $80-$100/Hr
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Compensation Specialist to support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of compensation processes within Workday. The ideal candidate will combine deep functional knowledge of compensation programs with hands-on Workday system expertise to deliver efficient, accurate, and compliant compensation solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Compensation, including Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and Compensation Review modules. Configure, test, and maintain compensation plans, grades, bonus structures, merit matrices, and compensation eligibility rules in Workday. Partner with Total Rewards, HRIS, and HR Business Partners to design and implement compensation processes aligned with business objectives. Support the annual compensation review cycle, including merit increases, promotions, and bonus administration using Workday Advanced Compensation. Troubleshoot and resolve compensation-related issues within Workday and provide timely support to HR and business users. Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with internal controls and compensation policies. Create reports, dashboards, and analytics related to compensation metrics using Workday Report Writer and dashboards. Participate in system upgrades, testing, and enhancements, ensuring compensation configurations are optimized post-release. Document procedures, processes, and system configurations to support knowledge sharing and business continuity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Workday projects and continuous process improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field. 3+ years of experience working in HRIS or Total Rewards with a strong focus on Workday Compensation. Hands-on experience with Workday configuration in Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; experience with Excel and Workday reporting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Workday certification in Compensation or Advanced Compensation. Experience supporting global compensation programs. Familiarity with job architecture frameworks and compensation benchmarking.
