Job Description:
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will serve as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring a clear understanding of project vision, goals, and functional requirements. You will analyze business needs, facilitate communication, and support solution implementation to ensure business objectives are met efficiently. This role demands strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end business analysis, including needs assessment, problem identification, and stakeholder management Act as the liaison between Business Owners and IT teams, translating business requirements into functional deliverables Define project scope and conduct risk analysis for proposed initiatives Facilitate meetings and knowledge transfer between stakeholders and development teams Monitor metrics such as user adoption and engagement to identify improvement areas Participate in and support user acceptance testing and business validation activities Help translate requirements into MVPs and communicate broader business context to the technical team Convert requirements into business process flows, context diagrams, and functional specifications Create and maintain project documentation Evaluate and test developed solutions for alignment with original requirements Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging cross-functional stakeholders Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and project scopes Proficiency with tools and techniques for collaboration, estimation, and reporting Strong facilitation skills for effective requirement gathering and stakeholder meetings Technical background or familiarity with IT environments preferred Demonstrated experience converting business requirements into clear documentation and actionable items Proven ability to support project delivery from discovery through implementation and validation
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
