Job Description

The HR Clerk provides administrative support to the Human Resources department by assisting with clerical tasks, maintaining personnel records, and supporting HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of employee information. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews

Prepare new hire packets and assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees

Maintain and update employee records in both physical files and HRIS systems

Process employee requests regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters

Assist with timekeeping and attendance tracking

Support the coordination of employee training sessions and events

Respond to general HR inquiries in a timely and professional manner

File, scan, and organize documents to ensure compliance with recordkeeping standards

Assist HR staff with projects and day-to-day administrative tasks Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in HR or Business preferred)

1-2 years of administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a human resources environment

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
