This includes product presentation, selling, negotiating directly with customers and presenting the vehicle features.Specific Job-Related Duties and ResponsibilitiesTake the customers through a thorough buying process supported by established selling steps, policies and proceduresDevelop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle featuresDemonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom and via test driveProvide new vehicle to customer through established delivery process, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperworkMaintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, loyalty and long-term clienteleDevelop a prospecting system, making calls and sending emails to potential customers to set appointmentsMaintain value, quality, and integrityClose Deals!General Company Related Duties and ResponsibilitiesReport to work within acceptable time frames and company standards.Maintain appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers.QualificationsMinimum high school diploma or GED equivalent requiredTwo to four year college degree preferred2-5 years sales and customer service experience preferred, but not requiredAutomotive sales background preferredKnowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operationsExcellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skillsSelf-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environmentStrong written and communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExperience with automotive software preferredProfessional appearance and work ethicCurrent, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)Working ConditionsThe employee will work indoors and outdoors.
