Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Procurement Operations- Global COE to lead key operational initiatives across category management & strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, spend analytics, performance measurement & reporting and supplier risk and diversity across our Direct and Indirect Spend. This role will ensure procurement excellence through the optimization of supplier performance, data-driven decision making and robust risk and diversity programs. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of procurement best practices.
Where You Come In
You develop and implement CoE’s strategy. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive CoE initiatives and ensure alignment with business needs and Dexcom objectives You will establish procurement governance structures, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and standardization globally You will define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of the Procurement function. Promote adoption of best practices and innovative solutions Category Management & Strategic Sourcing Framework Develop category management and strategy framework You keep abreast of changes in market conditions and implement changes in strategies as necessary. Supplier Relationship & Performance Management Develop and implement Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework and strategies to enhance supplier collaboration, performance and value creation Lead supplier performance management and reviews, scorecarding and continuous improvement initiatives including but not limited to should costing, value engineering and contracting excellence Lead activities related to; external communications with the suppliers, new vendor inquiries, supplier enablement on new process & technology, and internal communications within the business to develop a strong procurement brand Supplier Diversity, Risk & Sustainability Drive the Responsible Sourcing Strategy in alignment with Dexcom’s ESGgoals – Sourcing strategy should be with category teams Design and manage supplier risk framework to proactively monitor and contingency planning for critical suppliers Develop Robust BCP Procurement playbook Lead the development and execution of supplier diversity programs in alignment with company goals. Build relationships with diverse suppliers communities and advocacy organizations Analytics Oversee the design and implementation of analytics tools and dashboards. Provide actionable insights to identify cost savings, consolidation/negotiation opportunities and compliance risk Partner with Global Business Services on developing supplier fact packs and drive contracting & negotiations on tail spend
What Makes You Successful /Qualifications
Bachelor ’ s degree in Supply Chain , Business, Finance. MBA or Advanced degree preferred 15+ years of prog r essive experience in procurement, supply chain management including leadership roles Strong knowledge of Category management, SRM, supplier diversity, spend analytics and risk management practices Proficiency with procurement tools ( eg SAP, Coupa) and analytics platforms Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills Proven track record of leading strong teams and delivering measureable business impact

Flex Workplace :
Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
