Position Summary:
We are seeking an Oracle ERP Project Manager (Consulting) to join a publicly traded pharmaceutical company based in Montgomery County, PA. This organization is undergoing a major Finance Transformation, migrating from NetSuite to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. This role will lead the end-to-end implementation, focusing on Oracle Financials modules, with strong engagement across Finance, Accounting, and IT. This position will be on-site 2 – 3 days a week in Philadelphia to ensure regular face-to-face meetings with functional stakeholders.
Essential Duties:
• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation (Finance modules), including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, implementation partners, technical teams, and Oracle.
• Translate finance and accounting business requirements into ERP system configurations and workflows.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and manage UAT (User Acceptance Testing), data migration, and cutover planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements throughout the implementation.
• Monitor progress and report project status to executive stakeholders and steering committees.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Facilitate change management, user training, and post-go-live support.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Must possess a solid background in Accounting and Finance.
• Should possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing complex Finance/Accounting related enterprise software implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax).
• Experience with ERP data migration, testing, and cutover activities.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
• Must possess strong management and Project Management skills. PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Possess a Transformation background (highly organized and comfortable with agile, fast paced change).
• Exceptional communication (both written and verbal), stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $80 -120.
