If this aligns with your values and you want to join a leader in the banking industry, we are hiring for an Information Security Analyst that will play a vital role in helping secure our sensitive information and network infrastructure, and aids in day-to-day security functions within the org including monitoring, log analysis, vulnerability remediation, and reporting.
MAJOR DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Conducts security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis. Analyzes user-reported security matters: suspicious emails, unusual login activity, etc. Communicates with users to gather details and/or explain the threat. Analyzes system-detected security alerts. Researches and resolves, or escalates. Analyzes system-detected vulnerabilities. Verifies the risk, routes to the responsible party, and tracks the remediation. SIEM monitoring and tuning for noisy alerts and ticket management with our vendor. Anti-Virus management and monitoring. Vulnerability remediation/Patch management experience using an automated toolset. Complies with all banking laws and regulations, and maintains the confidentiality of bank and customer information. REQUIREMENTS/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 3+ years' work experience in security risk management, cybersecurity, or network security. Understanding of common email phishing and other exploitation techniques. Ability to rate emails as malicious/clean and take necessary steps to communicate back to users. Familiarity with common end-user attack vectors for credential theft, malware delivery, wire fraud, etc. Understanding of Active Directory permissions and group policy. Familiarity with Linux systems patching and hardening. Familiarity with common diagnostic tools like NMAP, tracert, etc. Experience with SIEMs and log analysis and other security tools. Familiarity with scripting in Powershell and Bash Script. Working knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, anti-malware agents, and security logging/tracing. Understanding of Cisco Security products including Umbrella. Vulnerability Management Software familiarity or for use in scanning, tracking, and reporting on vulnerabilities. Exhibit a professional demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to promote and work within a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and across all levels. Preferred
Bachelor's degree in cyber security, information technology, or computer science. 5+ years' work experience in security risk management, cybersecurity, or network security. Familiarity with Python. CompTIA, Security+, CISSP, or other certifications.
