Manager, Facilities
to oversee a portfolio of on-lot properties. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, maintenance, capital projects, and lease compliance, while ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality environment for all tenants and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of working independently and making key decisions under pressure.

Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations across a designated portfolio of properties, including maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vendor coordination. Serve as the primary contact for facilities-related emergencies (e.g., power outages, leaks, HVAC failures), with availability 24/7 during designated periods. Ensure compliance with lease agreements, including triple net leases, and coordinate with landlords, property managers, and the SCA Real Estate team. Lead capital improvement and maintenance projects from scope development through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and communication with stakeholders. Monitor and manage operating and capital budgets; justify monthly expenses and vendor charges; forecast spending patterns. Collaborate with the Relocation Coordinator to scope, estimate, and manage office moves, including coordination with internal trades and external vendors. Oversee union and non-union labor trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction) and select vendors based on service level, timing, and budget. Provide exceptional service to internal departments and tenants, including extended hours, VIP events, and special requests. Maintain strong communication with internal departments (e.g., Security, IT, EH&S), draft reports, and provide updates on projects and property conditions. Conduct regular building inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards, city codes, and Cal/OSHA regulations. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in facilities or property management, preferably in a studio or corporate environment. Strong knowledge of building systems, lease agreements, and facilities operations. Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and capital projects. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure. Familiarity with emergency response protocols and safety regulations. Proficiency in facilities management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. The anticipated base salary for this position is
$101,600 - $127,000 . This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and location.
