Role Summary: Junior Regional Operation Managers (Jr. ROMs) are a critical piece of ServiceUp’s success in market management and expansion. This is an intense, business-side startup role where every day presents new challenges and opportunities. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, and is driven by the pursuit of operational excellence. As a Jr. ROM at ServiceUp, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our New England, New York State, or Eastern Pennsylvania markets with Team Lead/ROM guidance, ensuring operational efficiency and outstanding service delivery. This includes overseeing our shop network, managing drivers, and responding quickly to market demands. You will play a role in driving growth, increasing market performance, and developing strategies to increase service level to current customers. To excel in this role, you must be self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners. Here’s what you’ll do: Market Operations Management

- Manage a network of direct report drivers as well as maintain the shop network within your markets, ensuring efficient coordination and high service standards across all repair operations. You will also work closely with the wider Field Ops and Expansion teams to handle shop/repair escalations and any shop network growth needed. Strategize

– Consistently innovate and execute unique strategies in your markets. You will assist the East team to further develop the strategy and infrastructure for our local operations teams to succeed! Cross-Collaborate

- We need someone who can follow and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that support the day to day running of our operations. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, optimize resource allocation, and implement best practices that drive sustainable growth and customer satisfaction. - Build the ServiceUp brand with your contributions! Go above and beyond to collaborate on refining and developing strategies to achieve our goals. Analyze

– Utilize data analytics with Team Lead guidance to identify trends and patterns in underperforming areas and develop strategies to address them effectively. Influence

– Work cross-functionally with our Operations, Product, Engineering, Business Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive strategic initiatives and improve market opportunities. Travel

- this role includes frequent travel within your assigned markets to onboard shops, meet with clients/existing partner shops, and grow the business. Here’s the background we would like you to have: 1+ years of startup, operations management, consulting, fleet management, or technology background Conflict resolution management Strong verbal and written communication skills Some experience in negotiation and onboarding vendors a plus Comfortable working with stakeholders of varying levels Vendor and fleet relationship management a plus Analytical background Experience in story-telling, and making data driven decisions Willingness to learn and develop skills under the Team Lead’s guidance While we are looking for a candidate with most or all of the above background, we still encourage those who may not have fully matching experience(s) to apply and outline why you think you’d be a great fit in a cover letter.
