About The Position Dexis seeks an experienced Program Manager to support an anticipated project with the Department of Labor in the Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor and Human Trafficking (OCFT). The role involves supporting communication, research, and data analysis related to child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking, in accordance with Congressional Mandates and an Executive Order. This position is based in Washington, DC and is contingent upon award. Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight to ensure high-quality, timely, and budget-compliant deliverables. Lead development and execution of project work plans, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring coordination across research, editorial, data, and outreach workstreams. The Project Director shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all technical matters relating to daily operation of this contract. Identify problems, recommend resolutions, ensure quality control, coordinate with the COR and DOL staff, and act as liaison between COR and contractors. Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team, monitor job performance and professional development, and prepare quarterly progress reports. Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance Advanced Degree (Master’s or higher) in international development, public policy, labor economics, or a related field. Minimum of ten (10) years experience in social science research, including at least five (5) years as a project director or in an equivalent project management role managing complex projects. Experience evaluating employment, training, education, social services, or related programs. Strong research and analytical skills, including designing and overseeing mixed-methods studies, data analysis, and policy translation. Experience managing technical writing, editing workflows, and producing reports, briefs, and data visualizations. Stakeholder engagement skills, including guiding interagency groups and ensuring ethical, trauma-informed engagement. In-depth knowledge of international labor issues, including child labor, forced labor, and supply-chain risks. Team management and mentorship capabilities, including leading cross-functional teams and remote staff.
