The System Administrator will perform duties related to security system operations in a variety of deployments for the assigned customer(s). They will understand and promote their customer's security system protocols and processes in the performance of their duties. They will regularly interact and collaborate with IT professionals on networking issues and must understand basic networking technologies. Customer service aptitude and attitude is essential in the performance of duties, as well, exhibiting highly developed skills in communication with all levels of system users.
Responsible to clearly and concisely present information in one-on-one & small group situations, along with interacting effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. Must have a strong customer facing approach and be results oriented.

What Your Day May Look Like: Configure and maintain security systems, including Database(s), Application Software, Features, Functionality, Reports, Badges and Operating Systems. Existing security systems in use including Lenel OnGuard, Software House Ccure, Avigilon Enterprise Video, HID Safe Visitor Management and others. Manage projects involving security system configuration, implementation, commissioning and final testing. Assist and advise field technical personnel on specific system response and operational theory. Troubleshoot and commission duties for specific site locations. Support cardholder badging station operations. Establish, maintain and support advanced network functionality related to security systems. Support the IT functionality through close coordination with both internal and external IT/Network providers. What We Offer:

Position Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months. Standard computer / technology skills needed. Customer service experience preferred. Security, Law Enforcement, OR Military experience a plus!! Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!! Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner. Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift. Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. 2+ years of experience with Access Control and Video Systems. Must have a reliable means of communication. Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private). Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. Field Technician background preferred. Programming experience in access control, video, or intrusion preferred. Certified in Lenel badging system preferred. All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
