Health And Nutrition Services Coordinator
To implement, monitor and coordinate the health and nutrition services areas for the Early Head Start Child Care Partnership program in accordance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and all applicable state and local regulations. Train, mentor and support staff and families to achieve program goals. Work Experience
Three to five years of experience in public/community health, school/clinical nursing, maternal and child health, or related field Experience working with infants and toddlers Education/Certifications/Licensure
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, and/or Health Education Licensed in the State of Texas without restrictions Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Ability to interact with diverse populations Ability to identify and solve problems Ability to work cohesively on an interdisciplinary team Proficiency with a variety of software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access Bilingual (English/Spanish) Physical Requirements
If a preliminary offer of employment is extended, a physical will be required before the offer can be accepted.
