Data Integration Lead | The Mortgage Office | B2B SaaS FinTech
Job Title: Database Developer Company Overview: The Mortgage Office is a fast-growing, private equity-backed fintech firm based in Huntington Beach, CA. We provide leading software solutions to the private lending industry, serving 1,100 customers managing over $200 billion in assets. We’ve recently tripled our team size to support the rapid growth of our B2B SaaS platform, driving innovation and automation in a thriving market. Job Summary: The Database Developer designs and maintains data processing tools and ensures data quality and integrity. Reporting directly to our Data Integration Lead, you'll collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to understand their data needs and deliver optimized solutions to enhance business efficiency. Responsibilities: Develop and implement data ingestion and conversion processes from diverse sources. Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and reporting. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure accurate data mapping. Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation to maintain data quality. Document schemas and data integration processes. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in data integration workflows. Identify opportunities to improve and automate data processes. Stay current with data engineering best practices and technologies. Support data migration projects and assist team members with data-related tasks. Requirements: 3+ years of database administration or development experience. Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems (MS SQL Server preferred). Proficiency in Python scripting for automation. Familiarity with data admin tools and techniques. Experience handling legacy data formats (CSV, TSV, XLS). Knowledge of data profiling, cleansing, and validation methods. Experience in schema design and data architecture. Familiarity with HubSpot CRM (preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent experience. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
