One of the largest ecological transformation companies is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Hybrid team in Boston, MA!
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join the team and support initiatives across various business units, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects, process improvement, and requirements gathering. The ideal candidate will have experience creating process maps, documenting business workflows, writing detailed user stories, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver successful business and technology solutions.
Contract Duration: 6-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within corporate, utility, environmental services, or M&A project environments.
Proven experience working on mergers and acquisitions, including integration planning and execution support.
Strong skills in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Bizagi) and workflow documentation.
Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for software development projects.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and project teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements for M&A and integration projects.
Develop detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and business process documentation to capture current state and define future state processes.
Analyze business operations and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements during and after mergers or acquisitions.
Write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for development teams.
Support project planning, tracking, and execution by working closely with project managers, business leaders, and technical teams.
