As a software engineer, you will build systems and cloud environments while maintaining critical systems and providing technical expertise in the development and testing of applications. Responsibilities: Utilize your knowledge and experience to build systems, software, and cloud environments. Provide maintenance on critical systems and technical expertise in design, development, implementation, and testing of customer tools and applications. Work with teams to develop new cloud-based applications and tools, and recommend new technologies to improve system performance and usability. Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy software tools that parse raw data for analysis. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, project managers, and other engineers and technical SMEs. Troubleshoot complex problems and support mission areas for software systems and applications. Work alongside other engineers to sustain and advance organizational capabilities. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions with business analysts, leads, and project managers. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (applicants within one year of graduation considered); no preferred major. Degrees from foreign institutions accepted. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Action- and results-oriented. Ability to work effectively independently and in teams. U.S. Citizenship required due to sensitive customer requirements. Must possess a Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope polygraph. Position requires on-site presence; not eligible for fully remote work. Preferred: Experience in developing cloud-based applications and recommending new technologies. Experience in designing, testing, debugging, and deploying software tools for data analysis. Collaborative experience with cross-functional teams.
