Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Fullstack Developer
with deep expertise in React and Node.js. You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to design, develop, and optimize scalable web applications and data-intensive features. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Washington D.C. area (5 days/week). Key Responsibilities Architect, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance React web applications and Node.js backend services Lead the full development lifecycle: requirements gathering, technical design, implementation, QA, deployment, and support Collaborate on APIs, database models, and end-to-end integration for data-centric features Mentor junior developers and review code for quality, performance, and maintainability Optimize existing systems for scalability, security, and reliability Stay current with emerging trends in fullstack engineering and data platforms Participate in Agile/Scrum workflows and cross-functional project discussions Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional fullstack development experience
(React and Node.js required) Proven track record architecting and building scalable web applications in a startup or dynamic environment Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Experience with authentication, authorization, and data security best practices Strong debugging, testing, and automation skills (Jest, Cypress, etc.) Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD workflows, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Ability to work
on-site in Washington D.C. 5 days per week Nice-to-Have Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) Background working at data-heavy or SaaS product startups Exposure to microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or GraphQL Competitive salary + equity Medical, dental, and vision insurance Flexible PTO policy Seniority level
