Perform detailed engineering analysis on new display technologies through modeling and measurement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define front-of-screen performance targets and test criteria based on vision perception. Translate performance targets into sub-architectures for panels and compensation algorithms in hardware and software. Analyze pixel driving timing and voltage sensitivity to optimize front-of-screen performance prior to build. Design and prototype compensation algorithms, identifying sensitivity to PVT variations to define scope. Create behavioral models of compensation algorithms and perform pre-silicon and post-silicon validation. Design calibration flows for compensation algorithms, including equipment and test vectors, and collaborate with teams to determine optimal factory placement. Must have deep domain expertise in at least one of the following: display panel mixed-signal circuit design, array-based circuits (e.g., image sensors, memory), characterization automation, or scripting. Requirements include a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience, experience in display panel or circuit design, lab experience with data acquisition and automation, and proficiency in circuit simulation (HSPICE, Spectre), Python, and Matlab. Additional desired qualities include strong communication skills, teamwork, ability to travel up to 10%, and a master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field. Compensation includes a base pay range from $139,500 to $258,100, with additional benefits such as stock programs, medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, educational reimbursement, and more. Key skills required are Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, System Design, Firmware, LabView, PCB, CAD, FPGA, Autocad, Programmable Logic Controllers, Revit. Employment type is full-time, with one vacancy available.
