Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery
The Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), is recruiting fellowship-trained clinicians in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery. Microvascular reconstruction is preferred but not required.
UCSF has a strong history of clinical excellence, innovative research, and multidisciplinary care. The Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at Mission Bay provides a premier setting for surgical, inpatient, and outpatient management, with expanding opportunities throughout the Bay Area. We seek a collaborative, energetic colleague dedicated to education, patient care, and research.
We welcome applicants at all academic ranks (Instructor, Assistant, Associate, Full Professor) and series (Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, In-Residence). This role includes participation in resident and fellow education, clinical research, and academic activities. Clinical sites may include Mission Bay, Mount Zion, Parnassus, and satellite offices.
Qualifications:
MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent)
Completed accredited residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery
Completed AHNS-accredited fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery
Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery
Eligible for California medical license by start date

UC salary scales set minimum pay by rank and step. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range is $134,500–$405,900, with additional compensation eligibility under the health sciences compensation plan.
