Records Examiner/Analyst
to support the mission of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Responsibilities
Review and evaluate data from multiple sources. Confirm data completeness and resolve inconsistencies. Accurately enter data into databases, documents, or spreadsheets. Create and manage case/project files. Validate and verify case files and data systems. Track case file status to ensure compliance with deadlines. Manage requests for additional information. Prepare documents, reports, summaries, and responses, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting. Manipulate, transfer, and print information as needed. Prepare and modify reports and correspondence using word processing software. Provide timely status updates. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
Preference for candidates residing in a HUBZone. Check your eligibility
here . Undergraduate degree or High School Diploma/GED with two years of experience. One year of experience in asset forfeiture or law enforcement-related fields. Ability to understand the organization and functions of the customer. Strong project and workload management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to interpret and evaluate complex legal and non-legal documents. Meticulous attention to detail and data entry skills. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced skills preferred. Commitment to excellent customer service and a positive, flexible attitude. Ability to work in a team and maintain professionalism. Knowledge of ATF policies related to asset forfeiture and experience with ATF procedures are a plus. This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a background investigation of 7 or 10 years. Agency Overview
