SharePoint Web Developer
Join a mission-driven development team supporting the Intelligence Community (IC) by designing and implementing innovative SharePoint solutions to streamline business processes and enhance customer support. This role focuses on front-end and back-end development of SharePoint 2019 applications while ensuring accessibility, usability, and security across platforms and devices. You'll also contribute to ongoing system assessments and provide recommendations for IT system improvements. Key Responsibilities: Develop, administer, and support SharePoint-based applications, including SharePoint 2019, SES, and SharePoint Online (SPO) Create and maintain complex workflows using Nintex, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI Design and implement modern SharePoint pages, migrating from Classic View where necessary Integrate custom code using SPFX and JavaScript module loaders (e.g., Require.js, AMD) Utilize .NET, C#, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance SharePoint capabilities Apply best practices for jQuery, asynchronous handling (AJAX), and partial page updates Collaborate with clients and project managers to analyze requirements and deliver user-centric solutions Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards compliance Provide SharePoint site support, design assistance, and continuous improvement recommendations Participate in automated deployment processes and support content migrations Required Skills: 11+ years of experience in web development, including SharePoint front-end and back-end support Proven experience creating and maintaining SharePoint templates and workflows Strong knowledge of Nintex forms and workflows Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) Experience with SPFX, React, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, C#, HTML, and CSS Understanding of cross-browser compatibility, asynchronous request handling, and AJAX Familiarity with modern SharePoint page design and administration Experience supporting site migrations from Classic to Modern View Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to complete a CI polygraph Desired Skills: Experience with SharePoint branding, search configuration, and content type management Familiarity with SharePoint utility modifications, content migrations, and deployment strategies Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks independently Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills Ability to gather user requirements and recommend process improvements About Metronome, LLC: Metronome is a spark that ignites passion for our customers and each other.
