Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,995 per week in Gettysburg, PA

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: No specific license required Certifications: AHA or ARC certifications required, RT(R), CVT, or RCIS required, ACLS, BLS, EPIC experience preferred Must-Have: Experience with EP device implants Accurate monitoring skills Knowledge of diagnostic cardiac catheterizations Ability to maintain sterile field Description: Looking for a Cath Lab Tech with experience in electrophysiology device implants. The schedule will consist of five 8-hour shifts from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Candidates will be clinically reviewed to determine fit before final decisions are made. This position includes call requirements of 12 shifts per month with call every third weekend. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free and may care for patients with COVID. Candidates will need to prepare access sites, perform EKG lead placements, and provide care during various cardiac procedures. Knowledge of equipment setups and the ability to interpret dysrhythmias is essential. Abilities such as monitoring hemodynamic statuses, performing IABP placements, and conducting permanent pacemaker insertions are required. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess strong critical thinking skills.
