Warehouse Shipping and Receiving

Job Objective : Assist warehouse management (Shipping Manager, Receiving Manager, and Warehouse Manager) in all areas of the warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.

Pay: $17-$17.50

Picking/Shipping Pull orders for shipment Place the material in the staging area; return the ticket to the supervisor Separate material to shipping points Load outgoing shipment onto trucks Receiving Receive all incoming materials Unload incoming shipments from trucks Verify and complete the delivery receipt. Note damaged or shortage on delivery receipt and have driver initial Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules. Complete all receiving paperwork Stock and stage received materials Troubleshoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them. Housekeeping

Keep the receiving and shipping areas organized Organize pallets and other support materials in a safe manner Other

Communicate warehouse concerns to supervisor Correct any system file maintenance issues as they occur Collaborates and communicates with logistics companies, customer service and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. Assist the driver with deliveries as needed (if driving a Commercial Driver's License must be obtained) Compliance with company uniform policy Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring customer loyalty Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company Work overtime as needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Company orientation Safety education Material Handling Equipment Certification Product knowledge Warehouse layout Process training General computer skills for basic data entry Performance Measurements:

Attendance (number/percentage of days present for work) Safety (number of days without violation or injury) Accuracy Productivity (day's work in a day) Operational summaries Receiving and picking statistics Housekeeping Requirements:

Forklift experience or certified strongly preferred Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience required Physical Requirements:
