Program Manager Technical Support
Position Title

Clearance Requirement
Must be eligible for or hold an active Public Trust clearance.
Position Overview
Facility Clearance Level preferred in alignment with contract requirements.
We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the technical support effort at U.S. Department of Education. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing the contract deliverables, personnel, client interactions, and compliance with all Department policies. This role is primarily remote, but may require occasional travel to Department offices in Washington, D.C. for key meetings or reviews.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and program management for the Technical Support effort. Serve as the primary point of contact with the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Manage a multidisciplinary technical team including developers, testers, help desk staff, trainers, and documentation specialists. Ensure timely submission of all contract deliverables and compliance with Department of Education standards. Support strategic planning, reporting, risk management, and performance optimization. Organize and facilitate regular project status meetings and prepare monthly status reports. Coordinate and support remote and hybrid team operations. Oversee ongoing security compliance, including support for Authority to Operate (ATO), FedRAMP, and CUI handling. Facilitate occasional in-person meetings at ED Headquarters, as required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. 8+ years of experience in IT Program or Project Management. Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting case management systems with preferred experience around OpenText eDOCS system, FedRAMP environments Proven experience managing remote teams and delivering services in accordance with federal security requirements. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant certifications. Experience with OpenText eDOCS, Matrix Logic WirelessDMS, and FedRAMP environments. Prior experience with Department of Education or other federal civil rights case systems.
Work Environment
This is primarily a remote position. Occasional in-person attendance may be required at the U.S. Department of Education offices in Washington, D.C. Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and secure remote access will be provided.
