This position is located at Samuel Adams Brewhouse. This is a Tip Offset Position. The responsibilities include operating a small full-service bar, mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, recording sales, making change or preparing charge slips, stocking the bar, keeping the bar, utensils, equipment, and work area clean and sanitary, keeping records of quantities of beverages dispensed, and submitting requirements for re-stocking to the supervisor. The candidate must meet state/local age requirements for serving alcohol, be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds, possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory, and have the skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. The candidate must also have the ability to monitor and direct the work of other bar staff. This job does not have an education qualification requirement. The area of consideration for this vacancy announcement is the local commuting area.
