Quality Control Technician
Surestaff is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for a company in Wheeling, IL. A successful Quality Control Technician should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $15/Hr-$17/Hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st & 2nd Shift. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician: Maintain QA programs and food safety practices to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; enforce plant quality standards. Monitor, enforce and further develop company programs. Oversee plant quality and GMP training and auditing. Monitor, collect and maintain quality retention program. Assure that all products manufactured meet specifications. Required Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician: At least 1 year of experience in quality for a food manufacturer. Knowledge of GMP, Allergen, Sanitation, and SQF. Contract packaging industry is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
