Position Summary Stepping Stone of San Diego is a non-profit that specializes in LGBTQ+ addiction recovery, mental health, and housing programs. Our Residential Program is a County-funded Drug Medi-Cal in-patient recovery program with 31 beds, and a team of counselors, peer support, mental health, and wrap-around services.

Responsibilities
Supervise SUD Counselors and support staff to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
Monitor the residential treatment environment for safety and adherence to DMC-ODS guidelines
Oversee staff’s completion of medication room audits and room searches
Develop and manage staffing schedules and treatment plans
Provide addiction recovery counseling, focusing on LGBTQ clients and individuals living with HIV/AIDS
Conduct assessments and support crisis management as needed
Coordinate transportation and off-site activities for residents
Lead treatment team meetings and support program audits and trainings
Ensure confidentiality and privacy standards are maintained
Minimum Qualifications
Active registration through CCAPP, CAADE, or CADTP with certification within 5 years
Current CPR/First Aid Certification
ASAM Training within 10 days of hire
Understanding of social determinants affecting LGBTQI+ communities
Strong communication and time management skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years’ experience in human services and managing SUD staff
Experience in residential AOD programs and electronic health records
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Completion of AOD credentialing education
Physical and Environmental Conditions
Indoor and outdoor work with residents
Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Flexible hours including evenings, nights, and weekends
