Job Description NAOVI has a career opening for a P/T Data Scientist for the following task: Required Technologies/Tools Demonstrated experience collaborating across the US Intelligence Community (USIC) to identify and close gaps in complex intelligence problems, with a strong ability to devise data collection and analysis strategies. Demonstrated experience supporting SIGINT collection, analysis, and operations. Demonstrated experience with SQL scripting and querying. Demonstrated experience with Elastic Query Language and Kibana dashboards. Demonstrated experience developing systems, processes, or tools with a strong ability to analyze and exploit complex data sets. Demonstrated experience in advanced cyber operations to include knowledge of internet protocols, IP addressing, and use of virtual machines and emulators. Desired Technologies/Tools Demonstrated experience with SIGINT and agency collection. Demonstrated experience with agency knowledge management databases and repositories, and tools with a strong understanding of IC knowledge management databases and repositories. Demonstrated experience working with agency supporting operational programs and writing to agency standards. Demonstrated experience performing geospatial analysis for critical high-tempo missions. Demonstrated experience with pattern of life, link analysis, and deep dive SIGINT and geospatial data forensics, with a strong ability to analyze and exploit complex data sets. Demonstrated experience providing sophisticated briefings that clearly and concisely convey highly technical analytic projects. Demonstrated experience briefing liaison partners on highly technical information. Demonstrated experience working with commercial vendors to integrate and provide workforce access to commercial systems on government networks. Demonstrated experience creating and distributing minutes or after-action items, with experience providing sophisticated briefings that clearly and concisely convey highly technical analytic projects. Demonstrated experience in the agencys space, with specific systems, processes, policies, and possessing supporting knowledge of operations. Demonstrated experience using critical thinking skills to innovate and resolve issues. Elastic Data Analyst certification, Etc. Other Relevant Technologies/Tools Experience engaging with agency to determine the nature of requirement or analytic problem, evaluate options, and offer Information Technology (IT)-based recommendations and options. Experience advising agency on IT and data science methods and data needed or available to satisfy the requirement. Experience developing IT and data science solutions to enable the exploitation of databases and files; devising data collection and strategies. Experience identifying potential additional data sources and automating collection processes. Experience integrating, analyzing, evaluating, and assessing quantitative data (using statistical software, computer models, geospatial models, software languages, mathematical models, machine learning) to contribute to or develop IT and data science solutions to requirements (software tools, analytic models, or reports). Experience conducting statistical, mathematical, geospatial or data-mining analysis in partnership with other colleagues. Experience anticipating and projecting a wide range of possible outcomes using scenario and alternative analyses, machine learning, and agent based modeling or other advanced analytic techniques. Experience identifying, using, or developing a wide range of methodologies and analytic tools to address existing or potential problems and collection strategies. Experience preparing, and communicating a wide range of strategic, highly complex graphics, computational models or tools, or written and oral assessments. Experience leveraging multiple data management tools to organize relevant information and make decisions.
