Site Supervisor / Senior Supervisor
is responsible for the effective supervision and coordination of daily site operations, site safety, and resources including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontracts while ensuring SRG and client policies are followed. This involves managing relationships with site workforce, client representatives, and the management team to supervise resources and drive operations. The
Site Supervisor / Senior Supervisor
acts as a mentor and leader to site staff, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to perform effectively and maintain SRG's Zero Harm culture.
Key Responsibilities include:
Assist Construction/Project Manager with resource planning.
Ensure safe and efficient work practices maintaining high quality standards.
Interpret construction drawings and documentation.
Manage Leading Hands/Site Team and report progress.
Monitor site safety and promote Zero Harm culture.
Report risks and hazards according to policies.
Manage relationships with client representatives.
Assist with recruitment, training, and mentoring.
Address and resolve interpersonal issues.
Complete and submit daily worksheets.
Conduct toolbox meetings.
Prepare project documentation and reports.
Coordinate delivery of materials and equipment.
Manage project consumables and liaise with suppliers.
Ensure plant and equipment are maintained.
Review and report on performance.
Promote SRG capabilities and cross-sell services.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Cert IV in Training & Assessment
Section 44 training & certifications, preferably Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training
Formal qualification in Project Management, OHS, or similar (desirable)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
