Vice President, Security Engineering with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas. Perform application security assessments (code review, penetration testing, design review, threat modeling) and communicate results to application engineers. Review application security architecture, policies, standards, and document findings. Identify vulnerabilities in software applications and design processes to reduce security risks. Research new cloud services and identify secure leverage methods for the firm. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze security threats and risks in software design. Conduct security threat analysis to identify exploit vectors. Develop and socialize test cases based on threat analysis. Document issues with recommendations for remediation. Advise component owners on secure implementation. Stay updated on new technologies and assist engineers in risk assessment. Work with incident management and forensic teams to develop cyber defense strategies. Provide security consulting within the firm as needed. Job Requirements
Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with three (3) years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of relevant experience. Experience must include reviewing security controls, articulating risks, conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing of web applications, and code review of languages such as Java. Additional experience with web stack technologies and architecture review of web applications is required. Benefits
